We are pleased to announce the appointment of Rebecca “Becky” Stickley as our new Executive Director, effective August 5, 2024. Becky brings a wealth of experience and a deep commitment to our community in her new role.
With more than eight years of service with the International Association of Chiefs of Police, Becky has demonstrated exceptional leadership and management skills. Her tenure there was marked by the implementation of innovative solutions and effective project management, earning her a reputation for creativity and effectiveness.
Becky also served as the Director of Resource Development with the Shenandoah Community Health Clinic, where she was instrumental in securing vital resources and support for the clinic’s initiatives. Most recently, she has been working as a leadership coach and consultant through her own firm, Stickley Strategies, helping organizations and individuals to achieve their full potential.
As a long-time resident of Shenandoah County, Becky is passionate about the community and deeply committed to its well-being. She graduated from Strasburg High School, where she distinguished herself as the class valedictorian in 2002. Becky and her husband, Darrell, live in Toms Brook and have a daughter, Helen.

In her new role, Becky will be responsible for overseeing the Foundation’s operations, developing strategic initiatives, and fostering relationships with donors and community partners. She will also lead efforts to expand the Foundation’s programs and services, ensuring that they continue to meet the evolving needs of the community.
