Letter of Intent
If your nonprofit organization meets the eligibility requirements for the annual Community Grants cycle (see Grant Making Overview), it may begin the grant process by FIRST SENDING A LETTER OF INTENT to the Foundation by November 1.
The Letter of Intent should be no more than one to two pages. It should include:
- a description of your organization’s project for which you seek funding
- the community need that it expects to meet (see list of need priorities by clicking HERE)
- the amount requested
- a copy of the IRS letter of determination identifying your organization as a 501(c)(3) charity or your official affiliation with such a charity.
Agencies may collaborate on a project, but please send only one request per agency.
