Honorable Perry W. Sarver Scholarship

Established by Melissa and Richard Sarver to honor Melissa’s father Perry Sarver, a retired judge of the 26th Circuit Court in Virginia.

Eligibility Requirements

  • Students currently enrolled in or attending an accredited law school and who graduated from a Shenandoah County public high school
  • Minimum GPA of 3.0
  • All else being equal, preference given to graduates of Virginia Tech
  • Completed application

Scholarship Award

2025 – $500; recipients will be eligible to receive the award for multiple years while attending law school, provided sufficient academic progress is being made and there has been no serious honor code violation or crime
