Field of Interest Funds are used to benefit a particular area specified by the donor, leaving discretion for particular charity to the Foundation Board. Examples might be “Affordable Housing” or “Early childhood education for at-risk youth.”

Maryellen Ruddy Animals of the Valley Fund (2012) – Established to support charitable or government organizations that promote animal care and welfare in Shenandoah County and surrounding areas.
|Donations of any size to a particular fund should be made payable to Shenandoah Community Foundation with the name of the specific fund in the memo line.
