$150,000 Grant Awarded to SCPS
A $150,000 grant from the Foundation’s Bowman-Shannon Cultural Arts Fund was awarded to Shenandoah County Public Schools (SCPS). It will be used to upgrade and install advanced sound systems in all three SCPS high schools and support a range of activities, including musical performances, theater productions, assemblies, and other school events.
$50,000 Grant Awarded to CREW
Shenandoah Community Foundation awarded a $50,000 grant from the Bowman-Shannon Cultural Arts Fund to Community Resources for Wellness and Education (CREW). The funds will be used to help renovate a performing arts center in the former Triplett School in Mount Jackson.
