The Shenandoah Community Foundation has awarded grants to 14 local non-profit organizations who participated in the Foundation’s 2012/13 grants cycle. These grants, ranging from $900 to $10,000, were made possible by a generous gift to the Foundation from Woodstock Anonymous.
“We are honored to be able to support the good work of our local non-profit organizations. And we are grateful for the donation from Woodstock Anonymous which enables us to fund this program,” said Foundation President, Jeff Dalke.
“Local non-profits really need support. We received requests totaling over $150, 000,”said program coordinator, Jeanne Russell.
“This year the grants committee supported all sorts of programs but focused primarily on Family, Child, and Social Welfare priorities,” according to Dalke.
